I’ve Been Busy

Today I was busy working on tdSwansburg’s web site. I have been working on it for the past 2 months or so. Its starting to wind down since the project is almost done. If your interested, have a look at it, tdSwansburg Design Studio. Also, I have been busy working on this little blog side project. Today I tweaked out some of the colours and how some of the things are layed out. I desided to add a classic starburst to the bottom of the menu. I think it added a nice touch and really made it feel “finished”. I also got around to linking up the icons under the header, to my portfolio and to the rss feed for the blog your reading. The plan is to add new icons every once in awhile to other sites I like. I also went as far as to add a new page that links up to my del.icio.us account. It grabs the 40 most recent links I have posted. Over the next week or so, I will be setting up sub pages so I can grab specific categories, instead of just the most recent links I’ve saved. Keep an eye out for it.

You Say Party, We Say Die! Web Production

YSPWSD is a Vancouver band which Cody Fennell recently designed a website for. He built a city of paper buildings, and after a few months of photoshop work, he fishished the design and gave me a call. In about 8 hours work, I managed to get the site built and to a really good stage. There are still a few things that need to be tweaked, but the majority of it is done. Check it in my archive.. The blog you see here…

… was setup in a few hours. I desided to update my blog (and actually start using it again). I started using wordpress as my blog CMS, as it is a fully featured, well rounded app. I installed a few plugins, and did many tweaks to get the software to act, and look the way I required. The theme was created to match my portfolio, but a little more colour was brought in with the greens.
